LOERIEROEP has 4, plus a new, recently added, exciting TREE HOUSE!
These affordable, self-catering units, each with it’s own, unique décor, are well positioned for both business and leisure travellers. Managed by the owners…….. Safe, peaceful and quiet.
Just minutes (5km) from Nelspruit, on the Panorama/Lebombo/N4 route.
TREE HOUSE : Suite of beautifully, unique furnished, primitive but luxurious, set among a bunch of old aged Jacaranda trees, a gem not to be missed!
Although the TREE HOUSE is part of the LoerieRoep establishment, it is totally uniquely built with it’s all see through walls, recycled wooden window frames…..to make sure you can look out and absolutely indulge yourself in this little private man-made jungle of plants and trees where you even have a peep of the mountain valley through the big leaves of the surrounding trees……… old doors, beautifully up cycled together with hand carved wooden panels to round it off. A mixture of typical rustic but relaxing, absolutely romantic and dreamy Bohemian feel to it. Ideal for a honeymoon couple, but if parents can’t resist to stay there, we might be able to accommodate a child as well on request.
The wooden floor and tin roof reminds you of the olden colonial days which will give you even more excitement during the stormy December season……Roman blinds to cover the windows during lightning storms. How exciting!
Together with a super comfortable queen bed, you also have the comfort of a shower bathroom with amenities as well as a rustic but stylish, fully equipped kitchen with a unique copper zinc, taps and water pipes. Thick sliced, raw wooden slabs for shelves, rotten sleeper wood as lampshade with big, round copper decor bulbs. Although we suggest you do not switch the DStv on, there is a flat screen TV and a fan during warmer weather.
The double door opens onto a railed, open porch where you can have your early morning coffee among the birds first ‘hallo’ (Bird lovers: Remember to bring your binoculars!)
Not only will you have your own secluded jungle for yourself, you will also be most welcome to enjoy the rest of the big, lavish and well maintained garden, overlooking the awesome mountain valley as well as the plunge pool (open for all) to cool yourself during the hot summer days.
Other than showing you around when you arrive with a welcome drink, your privacy will be respected. However, as the TREE HOUSE is part of the establishment, we are readily available and close by if you would need anything.
SITUATED: It is situated in the middle of the Panorama Rout; five kilometres from Nelspruit on the N4 in Mpumalanga. Out in the hills but close to town. It is a great stop off and shopping destination if you are travelling to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique or Swaziland.
SURROUNDINGS: The tranquil surroundings with city lights at night to spoil yourself with what seems as the ultimate food for your earthly soul. Where you can come, relax and unwind with a sun downer or a cup of coffee after a hard day’s work, either in the big, lavish garden….overlooking the mountain valley with its awesome view and most beautiful sunsets and city lights at night or at the pool.
ACTIVITIES: Cool off with your feet in an open-for-all plunge pool at the fairyland gazebo while the kids can play in the water, or jungle gym. There are different barbecue facilities in the garden with its open space lawns where children can run and play and kick a ball.
FAUNA & FLORA: A diverse variety of trees and birds for nature lovers. Be sure to pack your binoculars and camera for a fascinating and relaxing experience. The Loerie will call you to wake up early morning with all the others joining in to encourage you to enjoy the bright morning sunrise. A fish eagle will honour you with his call at least once a day while the sound of hippos will round it off to make it a perfect day.
